New York Nine Roster Spots Available For Top Players

As the fall season approaches we are still looking for select student athletes who fit the New York Nine organization singulair dosage. After reading our fall philosophy, decide if your current program is accomplishing all you need them to do for both your individual growth and development, as well as giving you the proper coaching and scheduling to achieve your collegiate goals. We still have roster space available for players who believe they are performing at the level of the top ten percent of ballplayers in the northeast. Fall Tryout Information

As the summer season winds down, the New York Nine is actively preparing for the upcoming fall season. If you are between the ages of 12-18, athletically qualified and looking for premium baseball instruction and opportunity, the New York Nine is the place for you. Since 2006, we have helped over 200 athletes continue to play baseball in college and over 40 players have signed professional contracts. UPDATE: Tryouts will be held at Blind Brook High School on Sunday August 9 and August 16 from 9 am to 1 pm. Please report at the appropriate starting time.

Position (and dual position) players: 9 am
All pitcher only players: 11 am.

All catchers will remain to catch live pitching.

You will be assessed on your running, throwing, fielding and hitting ability as well as current and projectable level of athleticism. For hitters ages 13 and up please bring a wooden bat if you have one.

New York Nine Fall Tryout Dates/Location Set

The New York Nine is pleased to announce their 2014 Fall Tryout Camp which will be held at Blind Brook High School (840 King St, Rye Brook, NY 10573) on Sunday August 10, 2014. There will be a follow up camp on Sunday August 17, 2014 for players invited back. Please complete a player questionnaire and report 15 minutes prior to your assigned session to register. Please wear appropriate attire for a baseball workout/tryout, and bring all equipment you should have with you.

Ages 10-12 (Not 13 until May 1st, 2015): 9:30am until 11:15 am
Ages 13-15 (Not 16 until May 1st, 2015): 11:30am until 1:15pm
Ages 15+ (Not older than 19 before May 1, 2015): 1:30pm until 3:15pm

You will be assessed on your running, throwing, fielding and hitting ability as well as current and projectable level of athleticism. Players who are pitchers only should report with their appropriate age group. For hitters ages 13 and up please bring a wooden bat if you have one.

Tryout For New York Nine Will Be Announced Shortly

After a very successful tryout at Blind Brook High School, the New York Nine will announce its series of tryouts for prospective New York Nine players in the next week. The 2014 season already has seen the Nine Program win 5 tournament championships, a World Series national quarter final finish, our Rookies finish 5-1 at the Premier World Series and 4 alumni drafted. Once again, The Nine will be looking for dedicated student athletes for our upcoming fall season. The areas premier amateur baseball development program, with our quality staff, are looking to take you and your game to the next level. This Sunday, July 27 at 6 PM, we are holding an open tryout for aspiring New York Nine players at Blind Brook High School for ages 12-15. Unlike many other organizations, there is no fee to try out/work out for the New York Nine. See you guys there!
