Team New York Baseball, the NEW YORK NINE is a government approved
NON-PROFIT, premier baseball program which prides itself on the academic,
social and athletic development of motivated young athletes.
With a serious commitment to the principles of education, the
NEW YORK NINE firmly
stands behind the word "student" in the term "student athlete". As true baseball
people, our goal is to maximize your exposure to the highest levels of the
collegiate coaching and national scouting communities, while offering sound
programs which develop mental and physical strength and minimize chance of
injury.
The philosophy of the
NEW YORK NINE
is simple - PROFESSIONAL LEVEL
ATTITUDES PRODUCE PROFESSIONAL LEVEL PEOPLE. Whether your last baseball
stop is college, the minor leagues or the major leagues, if you have the right
attitude and motivation, you will be prepared for the challenges that life has
to offer beyond baseball.
By offering mentors who have experienced success as educators, corporate
executives, small business owners, professional players, professional baseball
scouts, and nationally recognized coaches, you will constantly be surrounded by
positive people who know what it takes to reach the next level. Our
academic advisory committee makes sure that every student-athlete sets
personal educational goals which can be reached. Tools and tutors are provided
to all student-athletes who put forth the desire to improve their quality of
life through education AND athletics, not just athletics. The combined prior
history of our front office personnel has aided in obtaining almost one thousand
collegiate scholarships and dozens of professional baseball contracts.
