The NEW YORK NINE is a 501c3 non-profit charitable organization that provides opportunities for student-athletes from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds. Sponsor donations are essential to the organization, because they enable all student-athletes the same opportunities to enrich their athletic, academic and social experiences.

The Philosophy of the Nine

Our goal as an organization is to maximize our athletes' exposure to the highest levels of the collegiate coaching and national scouting communities, while offering sound programs that develop mental and physical strength. With a serious commitment to the principles of education, The New York Nine firmly stands behind the word "student" in the term "student-athlete". The organization provides the necessary tools to our student-athletes including tutoring, assistance in the collegiate selection process, and post graduation career placement. Incorporated as Team NY Baseball, LTD, the New York Nine instills morals and values through the belief that "professional level attitudes produce professional level people".

Our Track Record Speaks For Itself

The combined lifetime experience of our "front office" has successfully placed student athletes in various in colleges and universities across the country at an outstanding 95% success rate. Along with this, over 100 players have signed professional contracts.

Academic Advisory Committee

By offering mentors who have experienced success as educators, corporate executives, small business owners, professional baseball scouts, and nationally recognized coaches, student-athletes are surrounded by positive people who know what it takes to reach the next level. Our academic advisory committee makes sure that every student-athlete sets personal educational goals which can be reached. Tools and tutors are provided to all student-athletes who put forth the desire to improve their quality of life through education AND athletics, not just athletics. The combined prior history of our front office personnel has aided in obtaining almost one thousand collegiate scholarships and dozens of professional baseball contracts.

Community Activities

The New York Nine prides itself on supporting the community:

* We offer Free after school baseball clinics to inner city elementary schools and local little league programs.

* We run clothing and food drives during the winter holiday season

* The services of the New York Nine are ALWAYS available to its players

* Besides providing a competitive 50 game summer schedule, the program offers a winter conditioning program, a fall showcase schedule, and access to gym facilities throughout the year

* The program also provides contacts to local businesses for job opportunities for those in need

Single: $500 - $999

Partial student athlete sponsorship. Donator receives an authentic New York Nine T-shirt and hat, and internet link to your company from our website with mention of your charitable donation.

Double: $1000 - $2499

Half to three-quarter student-athlete sponsorship. Donator receives authentic New York Nine T-Shirt and Hat, sponsor plaque and certificate, and internet link to your company from our website with mention of your charitable donation.

Triple: $2500 - $4999

Student-Athlete three-quarter to full sponsorship. Portion of donation will supply team equipment and tutoring supplies. Donator receives all items listed in our Double package plus official autographed baseball and bat, and internet link to your company from our website with mention of your charitable donation.

Home Run: $5000 - $9999

Two to four full student-athlete sponsorships. Portion of donation will be designated for tutors and team travel expenses. Donator will receive all items listed in our Triple package, plus professional framed team autographed jersey, internet link to your company, and portable travel banner with your company's logo which will be displayed at all New York Nine home games (Banner to be supplied by company).

Grand Slam: $10,000 plus

Four or more student-athlete sponsorships. Portions of donation will be designated for tutoring expenses, team equipment and team travel. Includes all items in the home run package plus advertising your company through a corporate patch which will be worn on all jerseys for one summer season by one New York Nine team (company logo and patches must be provided by donating organization).

No-Hitter: $25,000 plus

Includes all items in our Grand Slam package. In addition to the corporate uniform patch, full season of posted game banners, and all internet links, donating company will also receive "a day at the park" which includes a ceremonial first pitch from your organization representative, as well as an opportunity to invite your company's employees and clients to the ball park., where they will be fed and treated like MVP's. Arrangements will also be made for your employees to take on members of the NY9 teams and front office in a softball game.
