The New York Ninehas a focused fall schedule designed to accomplish
multiple goals in a short period of time. We do not believe in the one-day
tryout process, therefore any student-athlete who shows enough potential
to be a member of the New York Nine is given an entire fall season.
This allows the student-athlete to showcase their skills for the college
coaches and pro scouts in attendance at most games, as well as show
a pattern of consistency for our coaching staff and talent evaluators.
There is not as much of a focus on "winning" (except in select
tournaments) as there is on equal opportunity. We schedule multiple
double-headers and split our roster according to the team we play and
the projected collegiate coaches and pro scouts in attendance, based
on player's projectability AND year of graduation. This is the New York
